Camil Iamandescu > The oldest lighthouse in Sulina, 2006. The lighthouses of the Sulina Canal came into obsolescnce since the natural growth of the canal into Black Sea (over 2 kilometres) and the addition of a long jetty (another 2 kilometres). Once in the outskirts of town, now the lighthouse become museum and is the real center of the town at the end of the Danube.
Camil Iamandescu > Pobeda" cars awaiting scrapping in a backyard near "Bourul" leather factories, Bucharest, 2006. These cars were communist official vehicles in the 1950-1960's era. Very tough, built after a 1941 Chevrolet, they were later licensed in Poland with the name "Warschawa" and lasted, in Romania at least, toward 1980's.
I must confess, the water is not real.
